ooh picked up a bunch of new stock at DIY cultures last week. om nom. working on getting lots of new stuff from around the world in the near future. not much in future plans eventwise other than small scale tabling (+ djing) at GIRL GERMS on april 27th. i predict it will be flipping epic on the fun front <3

btw all online orders will be receiving  copies of the previous girl germs' accompanying zine with interviews from woolf, loveover and my therapist says hot damn. until i run out of copies.

sorry we have been a wee bit poo at keeping the website properly updated lately :/ times have been hard / lazy / some unpleasant health troubles. also things have been fairly slow, so no new zines for a while. (haven't had the moneys to buy new stock. *sadface*) but we came back from sheffield zine fest with a couple of new zines, and i got my act together and finally listed the brainscans alex gave us at the end of the sinister zinester tour (so she didn't have to take them back with her)

in other news, we will be tabling at DIY CULTURES 2013 next sunday (7th april) at the rich mix in bethnal green (facebook event page). there's a bunch of ace workshops being held too. should be awesome! see you there?

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY TO VAMPIRE SUSHI DISTRO!

unfortunately this fall has been too hectic workwise / brainwise that we didn't manage to do ANYTHING amazing & special for our birthday like the compilation zine we've made the last two birthdays! shameful. however we've got lots of tabling plans in the next month or so! this friday (2nd november) we are (or tukru is) joining the SINISTER ZINESTER TOUR in nottingham and also tabling at LEEDS ZINE FAIR on sunday 4th. we are also tabling at SOUTH EAST LONDON ZINE FEST next week's sunday (11th) and QUEER ZINE FEST LONDON on december 8th.

we should probably shut down the website while on the road, but we're too fucking lazy. so please dont be surprised if you order something this week and get an email sometime next week saying 'oops that one's sold out! anything else you'd like instead?'. you have been warned! we also have some new zines we haven't got around to putting on the website yet!

SEPTEMBER 1st 2012

hello hello hello! it's a new era for vampire sushi distro. fancy new website a proper e-commerce thingie that (should) add up your postage by weight and stuff automatically! no more counting fangs etc. i'm still kinda figuring out the new system and its kinks though, so if there's anything that's wonky or doesn't work or what ever, please let us know! pretty excited about the new layout/system. i'm kinda sad to lose the red background though! by the way, i would like to publicly say big thank yous to sarah beth (for helping me out with technical shit and getting the shop thingie to work for me) and tee (for the idea, via her new distro, and holding my hand before bedtime while i cried tears of blood while struggling to figure out the new system and its cackhanded kinks. some of it is just NOT LOGICAL/that obvious.. but i think i've got it figured out now! mostly.)

we have no tabling / events planned in the near future at the moment (nothing in plans until october/november at the moment!) however we did have a lovely time at girls get busy zine fest last weekend. here's a picture of our table before people came. the 'neatness' didn't last long. i really need to sort out a good way of displaying the distro stock!

besides the new website, we've also got a bunch of new zines! and quite a few older things back in stock, and i made some patches too. do contact us if anything doesn't work/is wrong/you just wanna say hi!
